North Salem - Edna G. Davis, 78, a former resident of North Salem and Roachdale, died Monday in her home at Indianapolis. She was a member of the North Salem Methodist Church. Mrs. Davis was born Feb 28, 1895 in Kansas, the daughter of Jay and Evelyn Stephens Cooper. She first married Woodford M. Jackson who died in 1932. She then married Carl Davis who also preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Eugene Jackson of Indianapolis; a sister Hazel Lovett of Roachdale; 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Davis will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Porter Funeral Home here with the Rev. Wayne Stine officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at North Salem. Friends may call at the funeral home.
